Learning Model Development

The model can be defined as something that describes the existence of a framework or pattern of thinking. (Personal, 2010a, p. 86). Development is a process in a design in the form of material (Arief, 2017). 

Models can also provide an arrangement in the process of theory development and research. By following a certain model adopted by the researcher, a number of inputs will be obtained to improve the resulting product, in the form of teaching materials, online media (MOOC), or other learning products. 

The development model is also a very basic thing to develop the product to be produced. In general, a model is defined as an example or benchmark that can be followed. In practical terms, various things or activities that produce products must use models as examples, benchmarks, and guidelines. 

For example, a marine engineering engineer needs details of the skeleton and components of the ship to view and troubleshoot technical problems found through sequential and logistical stages (Chaeruman, 2017). The development model is the basis for developing the product to be produced. 

Model development can be in the form of procedural media, conceptual models, and theoretical models. The procedural model is a descriptive model that shows a step that must be followed to produce a product.

  3. Learning is a process carried out by individuals to obtain a new behavior change as a whole, as a result of the individual's own experience in interacting with his environment
  4. Learning is a combination that is composed of human elements, materials, facilities, equipment, and procedures that influence each other in achieving learning objectives (Hamalik, 2013)
  5. Learning is an event that affects learning so that the learning process can take place easily

(Miarso YH, 2005) Defines the term learning as an activity or activity that concentrates on the circumstances and interests of the learner (learned-centered). learning is used to eliminate the term "teaching" which is a tutor-centered activity. Gagne in (Perbadi, 2010) defines the notion of learning as "a collection of events embedded in activities that aim to facilitate learning".

Learning is an activity that is deliberately made with the aim of facilitating the learning process. Walter Dick and Lou Carey (2005, p.205) in (Perbadi, 2010b) Learning is an activity that is structured and planned through the media. Dimyati and Mudjiono in (Sagala, 2013) explain that "Learning is a programmed activity in instructional design, to make learning active, which provides the learning resource itself". 

By looking at some of the definitions above, it can be said that the model describes the basic form, function, pattern, process and work procedure that can be used as a reference or guide in an activity. While learning is a series or sequence of interrelated events so that the learning process can take place easily.
